Just In Case You've Been Out Of The Loop...

Lochlan Timothy was born October 2nd at 8:51a.m. Wieghing 8lbs 6oz. He is perfect! He has been warmly welcomed by his big brother Quinn. Oh yeah mommy and daddy sure think this little guy is great too!
We're much busier with two boys so don't expect much in the way of posts from this blogger, but don't give up completely.

Birthday #3

Quinn had his third birthday party today. Wow, he's grown up so fast. As each year has gone by,on his birthday,I relive in my memory the day he was born. Although his birthday isn't until Monday it really hit me today that my little baby boy is a little kid. He played in the pool, ate cake and got really excited about all his gifts, including his two wheeler. How does it happen so quickly. Don't get me wrong I'm glad that he will be three by the time the next baby is born, but I just wish we could freeze time, or at least slow it down a little.
I'm feeling very emotional and for once in at least the last few months it's definitely only because of the pregnancy hormones. I guess I just never really understood what other parents talked about, until having my own child. It's odd when weddings make you cry because you know the day that your little baby will be saying "I do" is creeping up so quickly.
Anyways...HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUINN!! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!

Prayer Request

For those of you who haven't lost all hope in this blogger, I am requesting some prayer. Monday I went to my doctor's appointment and was given my results from my last ultrasound. I was told that the baby is fine but that I have placenta previa. Previa meaning first. So my placenta is infront of the baby in way of the birth canal. There's three types of placenta previa, complete which blocks the cervix, partial which only some of it is in the way of the cervix, and marginal which the placenta is only on the edge of the cervix. I have partial. This changes my plans to have a vaginal birth. It is possible for the placenta to move and they will do another ultrasound August 15th to keep an eye on things. But I've decided that I would rather go for the safe option for me and the baby and have a cesarean section. Anyways, with any abnormality comes a risks and well, a list of bad stuff that could happen. So please pray for me and the baby, that we can make it full term without any further complications. Pray for health for both of us and for easy recovery.
By the way if you don't have medical knowledge or someone close by with medical knowledge around do not reseach placenta previa. It's freaky...but we are praying for the best outcome.

The Weekend in a Nutshell

Today I am VERY tired. There once was a day where I could stay up all hours of the night and catch a little sleep and feel human the next day. That day is not today. I worked yesterday and then at 8pm after getting off work we went to an old friend's house. I saw a friend who still hadn't met Quinn yet. Actually one of the last time we got together was when I was pregnant for Quinn. It was so nice to catch up. Strange at first because so much has changed but I guess that's life.

We took Quinn to see his first movie at the cinema. "Cars" what a cute flick. Quinn really appeciated the sounds and the fast cars. Ask him about it. He'll share with great detail and excitment that only Quinn can really express.

Full-Time at Alpha House

I've been meaning to post for some time now but just haven't gotten around to doing it. Life has been good. I started back full-time at Alpha House. I'm totally excited about that. It's better hours close to home and a lot less stress. Not to mention the babies are so cute. The ladies at JHS had a lunch party for me. It was sad to leave friends but exciting to be moving on.

I finally got to go to out with the girls the other night. Seems like forever since I last went out with my friends without Quinn. We had a great time and are talking about forming a a club with 'official' monthly, mandatory meetings. It was really nice to go out like a bunch of girls and have some good laughs.

Gotta run. Will Update later. Take Care;)

Twenty...umm line four

My friend suggested that we take our age example 20 years old. Figure out which post matches that age and share the fourth line. Mine is pretty sad.

I've been going crazy at the house trying to organize, get rid of and clean everything.

Give it a try!

Names!?!

Naming baby number one was much easier. I wasn't sure that I really loved the name that we had picked out for Quinn, had he been a girl but, Quinn William was picked before we got married. Trying to find a name we like as much, with a good meanning is very difficult this time around. Quinn's name means Wise Protector. We don't want wierd but don't like common. HELP!!!
